1. In-Person Teaching Position

Make $37.50/Hour Teaching

The Academies by Harvard Student Agencies is looking for passionate instructors to teach high school students next summer. Week-long (Monday-Friday) programs will be running for 8 weeks.

Various Programs Offered:

  • Pre-Med
    • Foundations of Biology and Chemistry
    • Human Anatomy and Systems of the Body
  • Programming
    • Introduction to Python
    • Introduction to Web Development
  • Government
    • American Politics
    • Pre-Law
  • Business
    • Business Entrepreneurship
    • Business Management

Logistics:

  • Pay: $37.50/hour = $1,500/week = $12,000 for 8 weeks
  • Dates: June 5 - August 4 (8 total weeks, 4th of July off)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm (free lunch every day)
  • Curriculum: Provided

2. Virtual Instructor Position

Want to Learn More?

What:

  • Instructors are responsible for teaching and engaging a class of 10-20 high school students within a specific subject.

When:

  • Standard shifts are Saturday & Sunday from 12-4pm ET.
  • Multiple dates throughout the semester, allowing instructors to choose programs they want to teach.
  • International programs with varying hours/days.

How:

  • Remotely on Zoom! You can teach from anywhere.
  • Pay begins at $16/hr and goes up $2/hr for every 32 hours taught, all the way up to $26/hr. (This could become your tenured Harvard job!)
